We are often asked what “title page personalization” means on our order form.
The first page of each of our custom leather journals is what we consider a “title page”. In our standard custom leather journals, the title page looks like this:

(Please note, this is a low resolution image and may look a little blurry due to the low resolution)
The top lines on the title page say (in smaller lettering) “This Legacy Journal was custom created for”
The center text (shown in red on the above image for easy reference. In our custom leather journals, it is the same color as the rest of the text on the page) is where your Title Page Personalization will appear.
The bottom text (again in smaller lettering) says “Created on” and gives the date the custom leather journal was created (noted in red text, but, is the same color as the rest of the text on a standard, printed title page in your custom leather journal).
Our special interest custom leather journals have a slightly different title page. Each special interest journal’s title page is a little different from the rest (depending on the special interest chosen). In general, they are formatted like this:

As you can see from the above (low resolution) image, the title page personalization (the recipient’s name) is positioned in the bottom area of the page. The “standard” bottom text says “Custom Created for” on the first line, the second line is the recipient’s name (or the title page personalization you give us), and the third line is the date the specialty custom leather journal was created.
